About Dr. Matthews

 
Scott Matthews grew up in Clinton, NC and was a 1988 graduate of Clinton High School. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a B.S. in Biology and met his wife Heather Matthews.
 
He completed his dental training at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997 and in that same year moved to Kinston and purchased the private practice of Dr. Junius Rose. Dr. Matthews has one son and one daughter.
